Dear garden enthusiasts,

Here is an abreviated December newsletter:

There are still a bunch of crops in the field, and if we don't have any killing frosts between now and Christmas, we'll be open for Saturday harvests for the next three Saturdays (12/01, 12/08, and 12/15) between 10am-12noon.

If the weather is nice plan on bringing a potluck dish to share for lunch. If it's cold and drizzly we will only harvest.

Please bring plastic grocery bags or cardboard boxes in which to carry home your produce. We're completely out.

Ready to harvest:
6 different varieties of lettuce
Pac Choi
Tatsoi
Arugula
Carrots
Raddichio
Chinese, Red, and Green Cabbages
Broccoli
Brussel Sprouts (starting in about 2 weeks)
Kale
Collards
Swiss Chard
Spinach
Daikon Radishes

Also, if you'd like to harvest items from the greenhouse, they will be ready beginning in about 2-3 weeks. However, please see Fred to get the scoop on how and when to harvest. You don't want to get sick from nitrate poisoning from harvesting at the wrong time....

see you all soon,

Fred
